Prices include food, heating, bedding, and litter although customers are welcome to provide their own food if required.
All cats must have a valid certificate of immunisation against Feline Influenza Feline Calici Virus (FCV) & Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis (FVR ) and Feline Enteritis Feline Panleukopenia (FIE ) . All vaccinations need to be boosted annually.
bring your certificate with you, as your cat cannot be accepted without it.
All cats must be neutered. Cats will be examined on arrival and the proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to any cat showing signs of ill health pending the advice of a veterinary surgeon. We do point out that for some cats coming into a cattery can be a stressful experience. This in turn can have an adverse effect on certain cats.
Purrfect Retreat is covered by specialist cattery insurance. However, this does not replace or supersede customers’ own pet insurance. A copy of our insurance policy is available on request.
Whilst all possible care and attention will be given, cats are boarded entirely at the owner's risk.
The proprietor of the cattery has the owner's authority to the extent the proprietor considers necessary and at the entire cost of the owner to seek treatment by a veterinary practitioner, including visits by such practitioner to the cattery, the administration of medicine, anaesthetic and surgery.
If insufficient notice of a cancellation is given the proprietor reserves the right to charge the full boarding fee.
All deliveries and collections will be made during our opening hours or by prior arrangement.
Booking Early booking is strongly advised particularly for holiday periods. Bookings should be made by telephone or email.
Transport - Owners are urged to transport their cats in an adequate secure basket or carrier between home and the cattery.
Parking - Please note that Purrfect Retreat Cattery is situated on a quiet rural road and your consideration for other customers and agricultural traffic when parking would be appreciated.

We collect information from you when you become a
customer of Purrfect Retreat.
For the smooth running of Purrfect Retreat and to comply with the terms of our license we need to keep a record of:
• Your name
• Your address
• Your telephone contact details
• Your email address
• The details of your pet(s)
• Details of your veterinary surgeon
We hold your information to ensure the smooth running of Purrfect Retreat and to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for your cat(s). We also have to hold some data to comply with the terms of our license.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, or protect ours or other’s rights, property, or safety. Your cat’s photo and name may appear on our Website or Facebook page, we will never use your family name in any posts.
You will be asked to sign a booking form on arrival at
the cattery which signifies your acceptance of our data protection policy. If
you do not wish to sign the form, then
unfortunately we will be unable to accept your cat for boarding. Please contact
us to discuss any concerns you may have.
